What is displayed on social media by others is only a glimpse

What is displayed on social media by others is only a glimpse, or camera flash of a second into their world.
At a young age, we’re taught others are our competitors and this manifests by “how perfect can I make my life seem, to be better than….?” mentality.
That void remains starved because we as a society project happiness as an external/constant emotion when in reality, it’s healthy to feel a whole variety of emotions.
It’s human nature to be comparative; unlearning common behaviors like comparing & relearning who we are outside of the internet realm brings closeness to our Authentic Self.
Instead of measuring self worth by comparing ourselves to unrealistic standards, let’s try learning how to sit with ourselves, and how to be comfortable in a moment, even when that moment may feel chaotic or scary. ❤️
