Center for Authentic Living is celebrating its 23rd year history in providing clinical outpatient treatment to adults, adolescents, couples, and families active in recovery, health and wellness. We won the Park Ridge Hall of Fame Counseling Award for quality and devotion to the community two years in a row 2018-2019.

The continuum of care starts at our assessment where the client will begin support in their journey. Our outpatient office provides individuals, couples, family and group therapy to address mental health issues, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, OCD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and stress and pain management.

Our multidisciplinary trauma-informed team offers traditional and body centered psychotherapy, addictions counseling, CBT, DBT, Gottman Couples Counseling, IFS (Internal Family Systems), (SP) Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and (SE) Somatic Experiencing Psychotherapy, and ( SMT) Somatic Movement Therapy.

Our integrative center utilizes body therapies, shiatsu, body mind acupressure, yoga therapy, and reiki as treatment protocols addressing both mental and physicals health related issues during recovery. These adjunct body therapies are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, energy medicine, yogic philosophy, and yoga informed psychotherapy. Clinical studies have shown the profound effect body therapies have on mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, and pain management.
